Health Department

The Department of Health works with its federal, state and local partners to help people in Washington prevent illness and injury, promote healthy places to live and work, provide education to help people make good health decisions and ensure our state is prepared for emergencies.

Practice of Law

The Practice of Law Board, a function of the Washington State Bar Association, was created by the Washington State Supreme Court in 2001 to investigate unauthorized practice of law complaints, issue advisory opinions, and recommend to the Supreme Court ways nonlawyers can improve access to law-related services.

Searchable database of a variety of disciplinary actions against attorneys, from 1996.


Licensing Department

The Department of Licensing provides information to law enforcement, license and regulate drivers, register vehicles and vessels, and license and regulates over 30 different professions.

Summaries of disciplinary actions against professionals and businesses. Arranged by business or profession, current. For some professions, earlier disciplinary actions can be requested (e.g., disciplinary actions taken before 2010 against architects can be requested via architects@dol.wa.gov).
