"Helping Low-Income People Find Solutions to Civil Legal Problems" is the byline of this website.

Dozens of practical and easy-to-understand documents discuss a wide-range of legal issues in the areas of:

  • aging and elder law
  • civil rights
  • consumer and debt
  • domestic violence and antiharassment
  • employment
  • family law
  • government benefits
  • health
  • housing
  • immigration
  • Native American issues
  • youth law and education

Many of the documents have been translated in Chinese, Laotian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and/or Vietnamese.

In addition to the documents, WashingtonLawHelp offers links to legal services providers who offer assistance.

The site is co-sponsored by Columbia Legal Services, the Legal Services Corporation, Northwest Justice Project, the Washington Courts, and the Washington State Access to Justice Network.
