Free Expression Network Clearinghouse,

"The Free Expression Network (FEN) is an alliance of organizations dedicated to protecting the First Amendment right of free expression and the values it represents, and to opposing governmental efforts to suppress constitutionally protected speech."

The Clearinghouse provides information on First Amendment issues, maintains a listserv for members of the Network, and posts news about threats to free expression from around the country. The site includes a list of "Resources" that includes links to the websites of member organizations (such as the American Civil Liberties Union and the American Library Association, Office for Intellectual Freedom) and of other government and association websites (including those Banned Books Online, Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, and the National Endowment for the Arts).

Readers may subscribe to the FEN email news service. Articles are organized under the following topics: Censorship, Free Speech, In Court, Internet, Legislation, and Schools.
