Jane K. Winn, a law professor at Southern Methodist University, developed this website "to help prospective law students understand how the Socratic method of instruction used in US law schools differs from the method of instruction used in most US undergraduate education or legal education outside the US."

Tutorials are available for six 1st year law school courses:

Each tutorial includes a case to read; a "thought bubble," that represents what a professor is thinking about when he or she asks a question; additional questions; and redirections in case you give a wrong answer.
