Unemployment Law Research Guide

This guide covers print and online sources relevant for legal
research on unemployment law topics. Some online sources are restricted
to users who have UW Net IDS, individual LexisNexis or Westlaw IDs or
passwords, and/or visitors using the Gallagher Law Library.
Databases
The Law Library subscribes to several commercial databases. Use the
Off-Campus access link and sign in with your UW NetID if you are working
from home.
BNA Labor &
Employment Law Library
Includes federal and state laws, regulations, and cases on disabilities,
fair employment, employment rights, and wages and hours. Also includes
checklists, expert commentary, and news.
CCH Unemployment Insurance Reporter
Ask a reference librarian to login.
Several UI titles appear under the "Payroll" tab, including federal and
state unemployment insurance laws, regulations, cases, and commentary.
Westlaw: WAPREC-DEC
Washington Commission of Employment Security precedential decisions,
1954 to date.
