New, returning, and visiting law students – we’re happy that you’re here! The Gallagher Law Library has many resources and services to help you in your studies. Take a look at our website, http://lib.law.washington.edu/, and this weekly column for more information.
Law Students can enter the Library beginning at 7:30 am on weekdays using their Husky cards.
Food is not allowed in the Library, except in the two areas that are accessible only by law students (Bogle and Gates Student Lounge on floor L1 and group study rooms on floor L2). Drinks (in covered containers) are allowed anywhere in the Library.
In the Library, you can find recycling bins at these locations:
Chapter 70.95 of RCW directs government entities to implement waste reduction and recycling programs. The success of UW’s recycling program depends on every person on campus playing a role in responsible waste management and the preservation of our state’s natural resources.
If you are a new J.D., LL.M., or Ph.D. student, you should have receive your LexisNexis activation code and Westlaw password during orientation. If you are a transfer or a visiting student, please stop by the Reference Office to pick up your LexisNexis activation code and Westlaw password.
All new activation codes and passwords MUST be registered.
