Cascade Is Coming!

by Judy Davis

Beginning July 24, Cascade Expands Your Information Universe.

As good as the Gallagher Law Library is, it just doesn't have everything. Beginning July 24, if you don't find what you want in MARIAN you'll be able to search Cascade. Cascade is a library catalog that allows you to look for books at the University of Washington, The Evergreen State College, Western Washington University, Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, and Washington State University.

Although anyone will be able to search the Cascade catalog, only School of Law faculty, staff, and students may borrow materials.

Placing a request is easy. Once you find the item you want, you can request it online using your Gallagher Law Library barcode. The book will be sent to Gallagher. Law students can pick up their books at the Circulation Desk, and we will deliver books for faculty to their offices. The Cascade loan period is 3 weeks with 1 renewal for all borrowers regardless of status.

On July 24, you'll be able to link to Cascade from MARIAN, the Law Library Catalog, at . There will also be a link to Cascade from the Gallagher homepage

If you have any questions about Cascade, please contact the Resource Sharing Librarian at 543-4262 or lawlibil@u.washington.edu.
