      This database consists of digital images of Meiji Period (1868-1911) books owned by the National Diet Library.  Included are nearly 3000 important law-related titles. One example is the collection of decisions of the highest pre-World War II court, 大審院 [Taishin'in] (The Great Court of Cassation), 大審院刑事判決禄 [Taishin'in keiji hanketsuroku] (Collection of criminal decisions of the Great Court of Cassation).
