5. Use the boxes to select the date of the case, after clicking on 裁判日付.
   The search below is for all Supreme Court 3rd Petty Bench cases in 2002. You can narrow this by inserting a month and date, or a date range.

6. Then press 検索 (Search) in the Legalbase Toolbar:
   

7. Here is the result screen. Note that there were 6,617 cases in the Supreme Court, 1st Petty Bench, and 984 cases for that court 2002 (Heisei 14).  Also note that the Legalbase Toolbar now shows the 保存 (Save) button in place of the 検索 button. The 保存件数 button reads "zero."  Now Press the 保存 button.
   

8. Selecting, Printing, and Downloading
   (Applies to All Types of Searches)
   Notice the 保存件数 box reads 53. The 53 hits are displaying in the 一覧 (list) window.  The 保存 button is now replaced by 評細 (detailed display) button.  Move through the list using the forward and backward arrows on the right side.  With the mouse, select individual cases for display, printing or download. The cases turn blue-green when you click on them, indicating they are selected. To de-select, click again.  To select all cases in the result, click 全選択 Once the desired cases are selected, press 評細 (detailed display).
   

9. The resulting full record looks like this. This case is published in 裁判所時報. You can move ahead one case, back one case, ahead one screen, back one screen by using the arrows at the top or side.  Now, to print, copy, or download the full-text cases you have selected, press ツール.
   

10. Make a selection for output, such as 印刷 ("Print"). Other choices include Copy, Download, and Word Processor (Opens the records in a Word Processor you can choose).
