the HHBJ CD ROM
- HHBJ serves as an index to Japanese legal articles and case reports.
It does not include full text of articles and cases. A majority of the
cases and articles indexed in HHBJ are included in the Gallagher Law
Library collection in print. Use HHBJ as a first step to find articles
and cases in the print collection.
- Use the keyword
index, phrase indexes, indexes for court name and trial date,
and many other indexes.
- Coverage begins in January 1982
- The CD is updated twice a year
- The back of the CD cover sheet (located inside
the plastic CD box) indicates the dates of coverage, and lists most
recent issue numbers of reporters indexed. Currently, the database includes
records for almost 375,000 legal articles and 34,000 cases.
- In the Marian Gould Gallagher Law Library, HHBJ is located in Rob
Britt's office (L137). Contact Rob in the
East Asian Law
Department to set up a time to use it.
