Using HHBJ to Search for Legal Articles

1. Insert the CD ROM in the computer.
2. Click the "文献ＣＤ" icon on the desktop:
   

3. Select 文献 ("articles")
   

4. For easier searching, select the 一括入力 mode ("All-In-One Searching").
   (一括入力 mode allows easier searching, with all possible search fields displayed (see below)).
   

5. To search, Enter search terms in the desired boxes, then click the 検索 (Search) button.
6. The 確認 (Confirm) button will activate. Press it.
   

1. Use an asterisk (*) for "And," and the plus sign (+) for "Or."  Note the keyword "And" search below.

3. You can narrow the search further (Search for 株主, then combine search 3 (商法＊取締役) with search 5, by selecting "複合" in the main search window, and putting 3*5 in the 検索文字例 box:
