Charles (Class of 1965) and Nancy Kimbrough Book Fund

Charles A. Kimbrough grew up in Spokane and earned a bachelor's
degree in history from Washington State University before coming to the
University of Washington School of Law. After graduation, he worked for the
state government in Olympia for a time, but the bulk of his career was in
private practice in Seattle and Bellevue. Among other things, his practice
included torts, property, and water law cases. He has been active in civic
life, serving on the Bellevue Parks Board and Planning Commission, managing
political campaigns, and serving on the board of the Northwest Kidney
Centers Foundation. Charles married Nancy Naismith, originally from
Pennsylvania and a graduate of Penn State, in 1968. The couple made a gift
to the Law Library in 2010.
