Bench and Bar Clippings Collection |
| Bench and Bar Clippings Policy Statement The Gallagher Law Library's collection of Bench and Bar Clippings consists of file folders and bound volumes located for preservation purposes in closed basement stacks. The staff of Circulation Services provides access by retrieving Bench and Bar Clippings. Retrieval requests may be submitted at the Circulation Desk on the second floor. A list of subjects in the file folders is available at Reserve and in the Reference Office, KF354.W3 W37 Index. Patrons may ask Circulation Staff to check individual names in the bound volumes. Appropriate ID including Gallagher barcode, drivers license, or state-issued identification card must be shown before patrons may use Bench and Bar Clippings. Items will be brought to the second floor to be used in the Reading Room only. Patrons will be asked to leave ID as security. Patrons must personally return the Bench and Bar Clippings to staff at the Circulation Desk. Access to the Bench and Bar Clippings is also provided through the Gallagher Copy & Send service. Copy & Send staff will photocopy and mail clippings for $15.00 per clipping. Fax charges are $20.00 per clipping. Send e-mail requests to copysend@u.washington.edu or phone the staff at 206-616-2370.
