Library's Move, Summer 2003
|
|
Updated Sept. 24, 2003.
The Gallagher Law Library will reopen on Monday, Sept. 29, at 8am.
The Gallagher Law Library has moved from Condon Hall to Gates Hall. During our
closure, limited services will be available. Please check this webpage for updates.
We anticipate reopening in late September 2003, in time for the new
academic year.
You may view pictures taken during the move in the Photo Gallery for pictures. Other
photographs of the building are available at the Law School's website, http://www.law.washington.edu/NewBuilding/.
So that patrons can continue their research over
the summer, the Library has extended due dates from the end of spring quarter
through the summer. UW Law School faculty, students, and staff--along with UW
faculty and staff--will have the due dates of all borrowed materials extended to
December 18th. All UW non-law students and public patrons will have due dates on
borrowed library materials extended to September 29th.
During this time, Cascade will be expanding to
include some private colleges in Washington and public and private colleges in
Oregon. The new system--to be called Summit,
http://cascade.lib.washington.edu/,
will include material from the Gallagher Law Library when the Library reopens in
late September. At that time UW law School faculty, students, and staff
will be able to borrow through Summit.
During the closure, we will offer
the following services:
UW Law School Faculty and Law
Students
